Wuala Launch on August 14!
As announced in our newsletter and at the TechCrunch meet-up in Zurich, we will launch the long-awaited public beta on August 14! That's only 26 days to go, but for all those who can't wait that long, join Wuala during our sneak preview over this weekend! After almost four years of development and about ten months in closed alpha with thousands of very active users sharing millions of files, we're ready to open it up to everyone. The public beta can be started directly from the web - no software installation and no user account required anymore. This allows you to send links to anyone, even to people who don't have Wuala yet. By clicking on the link, they'll end up in Wuala in the linked folder and can download your recommended files. Folders and groups can also be password-protected.
The news has spread rapidly :) Check out our recent coverage on TechCrunch, Telecom Paper, Center Networks, Neuerdings (in German) and many other blogs.
Btw: The scrolling LED badge (pictured) reads "Wuala launch in 28 days" - Oona, Luzi and me were walking around with those at the TechCrunch meet-up (see photos in Wuala).

Good luck with your software! ;)
Being a happy Wuala user for several months now, I can say that the general public would like even the current version :)
To hear about the new features that will be available soon just makes this release even more exciting!
