Wuala has launched!
Hooray, we've launched!! Wuala is now open to everyone and can be started directly from the web!
What changes for existing users? First and foremost, you can share files with anyone, not just people who are already in Wuala. You can send a link to your friends. If they click on the link, they can open your files in Wuala - no installation and no user account required. This will make it very easy for you to share your photos, documents, etc. with anyone. Simply click on the new sharing button in the toolbar and try it out for yourself.

Thanks again, all alpha testers, for your tremendous feedback and support during our closed alpha. You've been great testers! All your feedback has made Wuala what it is now! To reflect this, we have created a Wuala logo made up out of more than 700 user icons. If you have further, ideas, thoughts or anything else to share - tell us. We're curious and we're listening.
By the way, tonight we'll throw a little launch party (as announced) - if you have time, please stop by in our office: www.amiando.com/wuala.
Hope to see you there!
Best,
Your Wuala team
PS: We're getting an enormous amount of traffic and new users at the moment. So please be patient if not everything runs smoothly today - we're working on it!

Cool. Herzlichen Glückwunsch.
Alles Gute zum Start... und jede Menge User :)
is there any change wuala will implement an advertising system?
I run a website for tutorial videos - but I host all of my videos thru blip.tv to earn extra cash. I was hoping that somewhere down the road this might be an option with wuala, as the service is terrific.
congrats from me, sorry i missed the launch, will do a write up on www.wisequeen.com d
@hamy - you can definitely use wuala to host your files, there are different advantages and disadvantages compared with blip.tv or other hosts
have you considered providing them both as options? then people that like using blip.tv can watch your videos that way, and the people that like wuala can get them like any other file :)
